FIRST SANITARY FLOW AID WITH BUILT-IN CIP MODE

Improve material flow and reduce cleaning time with one device

Flow aids only move material. CIP devices only clean equipment. AirSweep CIP (Clean-in-Place) does both. Its globally patented 3-Sweep Process keeps bulk materials flowing during production, removes residual product between batches, and cleans and sanitizes vessels to eliminate cross-contamination.

KEY BENEFITS

  • Reduces downtime from material blockages and cleaning
  • Shortens cleaning time and changeovers
  • Increases throughput and potential gains for faster ROI
  • No manual intervention for less contamination risks and improved worker safety
  • Designed to meet global sanitary standards
  • Backed by a 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee and 7-Year Warranty

WHAT IS THE 3-SWEEP PROCESS?

AirSweep CIP's 3-Sweep Process fully automates material activation and dry and wet cleaning. It can switch between three modes with no intervention or interruption.

FLOW SWEEP

Pressurized air/gas breaks material blockages
It prevents bridging, ratholing, segregation, and buildup.

DRY SWEEP

Pressurized air/gas flushes residual material between batch runs
It shortens changeover times or the cleaning load before a washdown.

WET SWEEP

High-pressure liquid pulses remove stubborn material
It deep cleans and sanitizes the vessel, removing allergens, colorants, or other ingredients that could contaminate the next batch.

Each cycle increases cleaning efficiency. Flow Sweep and Dry Sweep prevent or remove material buildup before CIP cleaning begins, and Wet Sweep’s high-pressure scouring action removes more deposits with less liquid.

AirSweep CIP can also be connected to a hot air source to hasten drying after Wet Sweep, further saving time and preventing moisture-related contamination.

AIRSWEEP CIP VS OTHER CLEANING METHODS

AirSweep CIP optimizes more production processes.

CIP systems and accessories only do part of the job: dry clean, wet clean, or target specific areas. AirSweep CIP does it all, from improving material flow to completely cleaning the vessel for the next batch run.

AirSweep CIP is non-invasive, faster, and safer.

CIP spray balls and wands require hours of preparation. Workers must open the vessel, insert devices, and wipe moisture after washing. With AirSweep CIP, workers just need to push a button. This saves time, prevents injuries, and limits exposure to foreign materials and microbiological hazards.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

AirSweep CIP is a three-in-one pneumatic flow aid and CIP solution tool for industrial processing vessels. It is the first device to combine material flow activation and both dry and wet cleaning in a single automated system.

AirSweep CIP uses a non-invasive process where the vessel stays sealed during dry and wet cleaning cycles. It eliminates the need to open vessels and prevents outside contamination, airborne dust, and foreign materials from entering the system.

The system makes use of the AirSweep USDA-Accepted 185 flow aid and AirSweep USDA SPV, the world’s first sanitary pulse valve. Both meet strict global sanitary design standards and are made of USDA-accepted materials.

AirSweep CIP can be installed on the following vessels:

  • Silos, hoppers, blenders, paddle blenders, feeders
  • Ribbon mixers, plough shear mixers, paddle blenders, conical type, vertical mixers or even liquid vacuum mixing tanks
  • Intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), spray dryers, cyclones

No. Unlike continuous airflow systems, AirSweep uses short, powerful pulses to activate material and clean vessel surfaces. In fact, a typical system uses less than 10 CFM of compressed air or gas. The AirSweep USDA SPV’s patented technology also delivers high-impact air pulses while minimizing air consumption and energy costs.

By minimizing downtime during production and cleaning, CIP enables manufacturers to run additional batches and generate more sales from existing assets. In an independent CIP trial, AirSweep CIP system reduced a typical 3-hour cleaning process to just 30 minutes, the equivalent of two or more extra batches in the equivalent time gained.
